There aren't too many guidebooks to Ukraine available, but I have found the most prominent and up-to-date of them. Any of them may be ordered in just a minute or two with a credit card by clicking on the "buy from amazon.com" button, and additional product information (content and reader reviews) can be viewed by clicking on the product picture.

These guidebooks are so cheap that it makes no sense to go to Ukraine without one — especially considering how difficult it is to find complete tourist information on the ground in Ukraine.

Lonely Planet Ukraine Guide Traditionally considered the best country guides available, Lonely Planet's travel books contain a huge amount of practical information for all varieties of travelers. This book comes with many maps with names in Cyrillic as well as English. Very useful!		Bradt Ukraine Travel Guide Also an authoritative travel series. Written by the author of several books on Ukraine, this guide focuses on sightseeing and history as well as providing ample practical information for travelers. A worthy rival of the Lonely Planet guidebook.

Language and Travel Guide to Ukraine This book has a lot more language (Ukrainian language) information than other books and is very passionate about Ukraine's culture and sights. However, there is much less info on the Russian-speaking eastern part of Ukraine or on the Russian language, which is more prevalent in many of Ukraine's metropolises.		Kiev City Guide 328 pages by the author of the Bradt Ukraine guide. Tons of information on sights, nightlife, culture, and history. Includes a Ukrainian and Russian language guide.

Travel Guide to Jewish Russia & Ukraine Russia and Ukraine used to be the home of most of the world's Jews. This book tells about the rebirth of Jewish culture and Jewish sites in Ukraine.
