Khust is a picturesque small town in the heart of Transcarpathia, near the Romanian border. It has a charming old center, a hill you can climb to get excellent views, and three rivers in or next to the town.

The Tysa (Tisa) River flows from the Carpathian Mountains to the Danube and passes several kilometers from Khust.
